MONDAY, May 3, 2010 -- Due to flooding in and around the building and
parking lots at the Davidson County Regional Office at 900
Second Avenue, the Department of Children's Services has been evacuating
those Nashville offices this morning.
We will continue to update employees on the conditions of the building and
reporting to work on Tuesday, May 4, via news reports in the local press.
Employees may also be hearing instructions from their immediate
supervisors.
DCS nevertheless continues to serve children and families and to respond to
referrals of abuse and neglect.
